At the beginning of the 1993 Antonino Anastasi, strongly believing in organic agriculture, turned the Anastasi farm from a conventional farm in a company voted only toward organic agriculture. In the same year he established Mediterranea Foods an organic food trading company. These years he pioneered the market beginning only with extra virgin olive oil production. Over the next 10 years, this company gained experience at different levels in the organic field and build up a network that makes Mediterranea Foods today an experienced sales and export company in Mediterranean organic products coming only from Italy. The high quality of the agricultural productions in Italy is the result of a combined and armonious action of different factors, from the climate conditions to the land characteristics. Sila, Serre and Aspromonte woods, the deep valleys, the chrystal waters, a varying fauna and a rich flora: that’s the incontaminate environment and the fertile land where Medterranea Foods srl is located in. In 2007 considering the huge interest in our products from the american market we decided to open our office in New York.
